Gospel Is Bad News Before It’s Good News

The Gospel is good news. The good news is salvation can be achieved through the sacrifice of Jesus. But the Gospel first establishes bad news. On the day of Pentecost Peter and the other Apostles explained the bad news of the Gospel so they would understand the need for salvation. Paul in the letter to the Romans is doing the same.
